In 2020 co-founders Daniel and Ben identified a gap that existed for new graduates and early career professionals to get professional and affordable employment relations advice. Daniel and Ben set about combining their professional experiences together and The Savvy Grad (TSG) was born.

TSG offers expert, affordable and straightforward advice to recent university graduates and early career professionals who are seeking assistance in navigating the often complex process of employment relations. By operating 100% online, TSG is able to provide easily accessible and affordable advice to its clients. Our advice is provided by qualified and fully-insured employment relations advisors and is backed by a money-back guarantee.

When Daniel initially began looking for employment after graduating from dental school, he noticed a void in the understanding that new graduates displayed when presented with an employment contracts. When presented with his first few jobs offers, Daniel was unaware of the significance behind certain clauses and conditions. He found it difficult to find clear information concerning contract advice. Furthermore, many listed entitlements and remunerations were inaccurate and unclear.

Today, there is an increased pressure on new graduates to find a job. This can lead graduates to signing a contract that is unlawful, unfair or incomplete. Luckily, he met Ben who helped him through the process of reading and understanding employment contracts and ultimately leading to a signing a contract that he felt comfortable with and understood clearly.

Daniel and Ben’s vision is to help graduates feel confident that they can enter their first (or next) job with a clear understanding of their entitlements and rights. The Savvy Grad was launched to help you decipher your contract and identify any areas that may become problematic in the future. A consultation with The Savvy Grad is an easy and affordable way to help you understand your contract prior to signing and potentially encountering problems later on in your employment.
